Suzuki announced that the special edition, Suzuk SX4 X-EC 2011 will go on sale later this month. SX4 is a special five-door hatchback that blends the features of sporty compacts expressed as by the Swift, with those of lightweight SUVs such as the Grand Vitara, to create an exciting small car alternative.
The 1.6 litre petrol engine complies with EURO 5 regulations and returns 45.6mpg with emissions of just 141g/km. It accelerates the SX4 2WD with manual transmission from 0 to 62 mph in 10.7 seconds.
The special Edition SX4 X-EC is motivated by a 120PS 1.6-litre petrol engine linked to a manual transmission, the Euro 5 emissions petrol engine is equipped with variable valve timing with variable intake system for better driveability and response. Performance wise, it can reach 60 mph in just 10.2 seconds and returns 45.6mpg of fuel efficiency figure and 141g/km of CO2 emission.
X-EC is available in three metallic colors: Galatic Grey, Cosmic Black Pearl and Cool White Pearl and is priced competitively at £13,430.
